“It’s a long day (12 hours) with some bad roads but definitely worth doing. Our driver was very competent and skilfully missed every pot hole, and there were many! He didn’t speak much English but we managed to communicate. In summary is was interesting to see a part of Uzbekistan you wouldn’t have the opportunity to see otherwise. The story behind the Aral Sea comes to life when you visit the area. There were plenty of stops along the way and other interesting things to see… we even saw camels! We would definitely recommend this tour.”

“The day was good and our driver and guide was excellent. However, the company that we went with had not taken on board that we were doing the one day trip. When we arrived at the Yurt camp, they expected us to stay there. We should have arrived at lunchtime, not tea time. The driver then had to do the long drive back. They did try to put us under pressure to stay but that was not possible as we were travelling the next day. I would suggest that the company carefully checks. We were given the first day of the two day trip, rather than the one day trip.…”
